Jonathan De Pas, Donato D’Urbino and Paolo Lomazzi were all born in Milan in the 1930s. Their design collaboration began in the 1960s, with projects that included designing objects, architecture, installations, and furnishings.

They often featured avant-garde design, temporary furniture using modern materials and new industrial technologies. Their collaboration became offical in 1966 when they partnered with the manufacturer, Zanotta.

Their works appear in major museums around the world.
